Blood is a red data…

Red blood cells contain a chemical substance called ‘hemoglobin’. It is this chemical that gives blood its red color. Hemoglobin carries oxygen to all cells in the body. Anemia occurs when the number of hemoglobin in the blood decreases. Red blood cells are given when anemia or blood loss occurs.

Lifespan of red blood cells

The lifespan of red blood cells is four months. Iron is needed for the production of hemoglobin, the main chemical in red blood cells. Greens, cabbage, eggs, and meat are rich in iron. If you include these in your diet daily, you will not get anemia.

Work of white blood cells

White blood cells can be called soldiers. Because white blood cells are the first to fight pathogens that enter the body. They are the main source of immunity.

The function of the “platelet” cells in the blood

Platelets have the ability to naturally stop bleeding in the body after an injury. These form a “cork” around the bleeding site and stop further bleeding. These platelet cells are injected into patients suffering from dengue and severe malaria fever.

Plasma

Plasma is the liquid substance in the blood. About 50 percent of 100 milliliters of blood is plasma and 40 percent is red blood cells. Other atoms make up 10 percent. Plasma contains water, vitamins, minerals, clotting factors, and protein. Only plasma is administered to patients suffering from burns.

Substances in the blood

There are three types of cells in blood namely red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Apart from these, there is also a substance called ‘plasma’ in a liquid state.
